In light of the fact Jesse Herron of the WCOFF struggled so mightily this year in the Pick'em Challenge with WCOFF veteran Scott Atkins, I felt inclined to offer my take on the NFL Playoffs to spare Jesse further embarrassment. And for those taking part in the WCOFF Post Season Challenge, you'll want to play close attention here as your fate could very well be defined by picking players on the teams I predict will go deep in the playoffs and wind up in Miami.

The much anticipated announcement of the 2010 World Championship of Fantasy Baseball is being officially made on Monday on Radio Row at Super Bowl XLIV. A national audience of sports fans will learn about the $200,000 being awarded to the 2010 WCOFB Main Event Champion, representing the highest payout in high stakes fantasy baseball.

We're excited to introduce to poker fans around the globe a premium high stakes fantasy poker contest. Football fans have enjoyed the World Championship of Fantasy Poker since 2002 and it's time to offer the same level of competition in the fast growing community of poker. To get things started we thought we'd update our players on the terminology you may here on the site. While most of our focus will be on the players in the poker tournaments, as they will determine our fate as fantasy poker players, you will at times see articles breaking down the various tournaments, discussing hands while passing along some general poker tips.

Wild Card weekend is in the books and wow did it finish with a bang. The Arizona Cardinals and Green Bay Packers finished with the highest single game scoring total in the history of the NFL Playoffs, much to the liking of fantasy football owners in the World Championship of Fantasy Football Post Season Contest with a Packer or Cardinal in their lineup.

Weather looked to play a factor in Week 15 action as several games were pushed back from their original 1pm EST start to a 4:15pm EST. The result is fantasy owners are hanging in the balance as impact players galore aren't getting started until later in the afternoon on Sunday.

Ten weeks are down with one week to go in the World Championship of Fantasy Football Main Event regular season and only 12 of the 73 Main Event Leagues have decided the #1 seed. Of the 876 teams competing in the 2009 Main Event, only 2 remain unbeaten through 11 weeks.

Eleven teams remain unbeaten in the World Championship of Fantasy Football Main Event but the number of perfect teams is dwindling by the bushel as one would expect this late in the season. In previewing the upcoming matchups for those unbeaten teams, we feel as though the top three in overall points will get past week 8 and remain perfect. But how will the rest fare?

I had the pleasure of visiting with our current Main Event Overall Leaders, Nick and Brent Krutzig, last Thursday on Fantasy Sports Night in America. The two brothers own Polk High Alumni in League #42 and at 6-0 are poised for a deep run in the World Championship of Fantasy Football Main Event.
