St. Louis, MO - September 1 - The 2010 World Championship of Fantasy Football Draft Masters League has filled and draft positions were announced on Wednesday as part of the WCOFF Web TV show which will air over Labor Day weekend. Participants will be able to see their draft position revealed as part of the web cast.

As many as 900 teams, represented by over 1,500 people will participate in the 2010 World Championship of Fantasy Football. Live drafts in four cities, Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Chicago and Orlando will mark the kick off to the 2010 season with Las Vegas drawing the largest crowd of fantasy football drafters. "We'll have as many as 650 to 700 of our Main Event Teams drafting from Las Vegas with the remainder distributed rather evenly in the other three markets," said WCOFF Commissioner, Dustin Ashby. This is Ashby's 4th year at the helm of the World Championship of Fantasy Football and the 9th year of the premium high stakes fantasy football competition, which was founded in 2002.

Designed for participants who share a passion for football, specifically fantasy football, exclusive access to Celebrities and raising funds for an incredible cause, Rally for Kids with Cancer and WCOFF have put together the ultimate opportunity. This exciting event will be taking place on September 9, 10 and 11 in Las Vegas as part of the World Championship of Fantasy Football Main Event.

The 1K Ultimate Total Points Satellite features a minimum of 72 teams placed in leagues of 12 teams each. Teams will compete over the first 14 weeks accumulating as many points as possible with the top 4 teams at the finish of the regular season advancing to the league playoffs.

St. Louis, MO - July 2 - The World Championship of Fantasy Football announced a new format for 2010 as part of the legendary high stakes Main Event. It's called the Draft Slot Challenge, an ancillary contest to be conducted as part of the Main Event, where participants drafting from the same position in their respective Main Event league will be able to compete over the course of the 16 week WCOFF season.

On Thursday, April 22nd Lagasse's Stadium will be the focus of attention as it plays host to an NFL Draft Viewing Party featuring current and former NFL Players such as Seth Joyner, Jerry Porter, Kenny Onatolu and others. In addition to the current and former NFL Players, NFL Scout Chuck Fisher and Agent Jack Bechta will be on hand to share their perspective on what the players are going through as they enter a new life in the National Football League.

December 28 - Only seven fantasy football teams have ever experienced the exhilaration that comes from being declared the best in the world. And this isn't a self proclaimed distinction, to be the best in the world means you've outlasted hundreds of the best fantasy football owners to win the World Championship of Fantasy Football. Poochie Bennish was the most recent to accomplish the feat until this evening when the NFL Week 16 is scheduled to come to a close when the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears put a wrap on the 2009 WCOFF Main Event season.

Four 1K Auction Leagues were contested in 2009 with Week 16 being the culmination of the season. Each league was self contained, featuring three divisions of four teams each. Teams played those within their division twice and every other team in the league one time during the regular season. The top team in each division and the top scoring team not already qualified for the playoffs joined the three division winners as the wild card for a two week playoff.
